The ice making principle of the NOCK ECONOMY SE range

The NOCK ECONOMY SE scale ice makers avail of a vertical stationary freezing cylinder (evaporator). The water is sprayed through water jets onto the inside of the cylinder and is removed directly after freezing by an ice crushing roller. The crushed (broken) scale ice then exits through the bottom side of the cylinder.

The cooling agent circulation of the ECONOMY SE does not require any moving seals, because the evaporating cylinder is stationary. This omits the risk of cooling agent loss due to worn seals. Any such repairs can therefore be eliminated.

The ECONOMY SE ice makers do not have a water tank (water bath), in which a freezing cylinder rotates. The periodical cleaning, along with the hygienic risk and laborious disinfecting of this water tank are eliminated.
